This product has specific technical characteristics that allow the use of VBBShvng in all kinds of rooms, as well as in tunnels, mine structures and in open space. Laying products in blocks is not allowed; strong stretch marks should be avoided. Places with any degree of corrosion are quite suitable for VBBShvng, and its operation is not at all affected by stray currents.

If the cable is laid in a single version, it will not spread fire, so it is often used in places with increased explosion and fire hazards. If the armored cable is copper, then it will not spread fire even when laid in bundles.

Main performance qualities of VBBShvng products:

  • Laying of these products is possible in the ambient temperature range from -50C to +50C. The cables remain operational even at a relative air humidity of 98%, at +35C.
  • The electrical resistance of individual wires to direct current has standard parameters determined by GOST 22483.
  • The resistance standards of the insulating coating for each current-carrying wire are considered based on the 1st kilometer of cable length at +20C. The minimum indicator for different types of conductors is: with a cross section of 1.5 and 2.5 mm2 - 12 Mohm; 4 mm2 – 10 Mohm; 6 mm2 – 9 Mohm; from 10 to 240 mm2 – 7 Mohm.
  • When testing with alternating voltage, the VBBShvng cable, designed for 0.66 kV, is subjected to a test voltage of 3 kV. If the rating is 1 kV, then the test voltage will be 3.5 kV.
