The optimal solution is to organize a security alarm system in the house.
In practice, even the simplest street CCTV cameras or even their dummies of video cameras reduce the risk of unauthorized persons entering the territory.
However, a facility can be made safe only by organizing a comprehensive system that includes not only video surveillance equipment, but also gas sensors, flame detectors, fire extinguishing and fire safety elements.
To decide on a specific type of system, it is necessary to take into account the specifics of the object.
Application
A country cottage or private house differs from apartments not only in location and design, but also in greater distance from neighbors.
In multi-story buildings, break-ins are more noticeable, which may cause neighbors to call law enforcement. And this is not to mention the electromagnetic lock at the entrance and the entrance video intercom, which minimize the risk of crime.
Private housing is deprived of such assistance, and therefore requires the organization of an autonomous security alarm, which should be chosen depending on a number of features of a particular object:
- total area of the house and surrounding area;
- number of inputs and outputs;
- distance from the nearest neighbors and the private security company’s service area;
- house configuration: presence of balconies, terraces, loggias;
- the presence of a site and buildings on it.
It is recommended to divide the territory and the house into several zones. This allows you to separately control certain areas and turn off the alarm in one of them when people are there.
All this facilitates unauthorized entry and requires more attention to the organization of alarm systems for safe living in the house.
A home security alarm is a combined system consisting of a set of different protection methods depending on the communication channel and connected to a loop. The system consists of sensors, a control panel (RCD) and actuators.
Sensors monitor a certain parameter: the opening of a door or window, movement in a certain area, glass breaking, unauthorized access to the territory, and so on. When triggered, the presence sensor transmits information to the control panel.
Help: the main types of sensors react to three parameters - opening, movement, breaking.
The first ones are distinguished by a magnetic contact principle of operation and are installed on doors and windows, reacting to the slightest vibration.
Motion sensors (volumetric and infrared) monitor a certain area and signal movement, and break sensors are installed near windows and turn on when they break.
This device is a board in a special panel, which is connected to all the sensors and when one of them is triggered, the device processes the signal and transmits them to the actuator.
System composition
The security alarm system consists of the following components:
- Central control device
- Executive controller
- Remote Control
- End devices (sensors)
- Notification devices (siren, display panels, etc.)
- Cable infrastructure
There are also many options by type of execution, from small home systems to industrial or automotive ones. According to the principle of operation, the systems can be loop-type (analog) and addressable (there are also addressable-analogue ones, but they are used mainly in fire alarm systems).
- Loop or analog alarm systems work by constructing a linear topology of security loops, which include analog sensors and a mandatory end-of-line resistor. Executive controllers are responsible for organizing security loops (in the particular case of small systems, this function is performed by the central controller). The security loop has restrictions on the maximum length and the number of sensors included in it (depending on the executive controller), just as the main communication bus with the central controller must have a linear topology and has a limitation on the maximum permissible length and the number of executive controllers on it (depending from the central controller). The advantages
of loop systems: they work on a regular RS485 interface, they are cheaper, you can use analog sensors from any manufacturer.
Cons
: If the loop is damaged, all the equipment on it fails; if there are many sensors of the same type in the loop, then if one malfunctions, you will have to check everything. - Addressable alarm systems operate on a ring loop topology, which includes addressable sensors and, when triggered, the sensor not only transmits an alarm to the central controller, but also its location (address). In addition, the ring topology allows the equipment to operate even if the loop is damaged (the damaged area is isolated). Likewise, if a sensor malfunctions, you know its exact location. In addition, in addressable systems, the device polling time is shorter (again due to the ring topology), and a loop can include a larger number of addressable sensors than an analog one. Disadvantages
: you will have to select central equipment and sensors from the same manufacturer, since there is no uniform operating protocol between addressable systems from different manufacturers; addressable equipment, in principle, is more expensive than analog equipment. - In hybrid addressable-analog systems, non-addressable sensors can be connected to the addressable executive controller through special addressable modules. This principle is often used when creating fire alarm systems.
It must be said that there are quite a lot of manufacturers of control devices and sensors in Russia; this is a very developing area. The largest of them are: RUBEZH Saratov, BOLID Moscow, SIGMA-IS Moscow, Radium JSC, VERS, Siberian Arsenal. Home alarm systems: Guardian (PS-Link company), Ajax, IPRo-gsm, Mirage-gsm (Stealth NPP company) and others.
How does a home security alarm work?
Depending on the communication channel, they can be wireless - security alarms operate via a GSM network, or wired - laid throughout the site.
The systems themselves operate both from a 220V network and autonomously from a backup power supply, which ensures reliable operation even during power outages.
Help: a loop is a chain of security detectors that are connected in series into a common system.
The principle of operation of the system is as follows: when movement or vibration occurs in a certain area, the sensor records the change and is triggered. The control panel records the change in the loop and determines the zone in which the movement occurred.
Next, the control signal is supplied to one or all actuators:
- light and sound alarm;
- homeowner's telephone number;
- remote security points.
The system is turned off using a special code that is set by the owner. Methods of controlling the system are a remote control or a keyboard connected to the board.
Alarm signal
Depending on the application of the security alarm system, the alarm signal can be local, remote or combined. As a rule, a local security alarm system includes only internal and external warning methods; these can be sirens, some other warning sound, a light warning, or a special display unit. Security alarm systems with remote monitoring can come in a variety of configurations. The “alarm” signal can be output to a remote security console using a dedicated telephone line, a GSM channel, an IP channel, separately or complementing each other (sometimes these are several dedicated telephone lines). The telephone line must be dedicated so that at the time of the alarm signal the line is not busy. The GSM module is often used by manufacturers of small home security systems; it transmits an alarm signal to the security console, with which the installer company has an agreement, and the user, in turn, pays some kind of subscription fee to the installer for organizing such remote control. Another option for using the GSM module is an SMS notification to the user; the system sends status messages upon request from the user, and upon alarm, messages about which sensor triggered the alarm. Often, a video camera is integrated into small security alarm systems, which also sends an image to the user at the time of an alarm. Using an IP channel is also more about home systems that have a web interface or a cloud service or communicate with the user through an application.
Types of security alarms for the home
Location
By location, security alarms are classified as follows: perimeter protection, access monitoring and internal premises.
Perimeter security
It involves installing sensors on the premises that detect movement and warn the homeowner and security company about it. The most effective system, since it allows you to prevent intruders from entering the house and give it away before entering the territory.
Perimeter security systems are subject to the following requirements: the possibility of hidden installation, the absence of “blind” spots, precise following of all perimeter contours, absence of interference, resistance to climatic conditions.
The systems themselves are classified into five types.
Vibrating . They use an electromagnetic microphone in the sensor cable, which generates a signal when vibrations occur. If necessary, you can listen to what is happening on the territory and make an appropriate decision. The sensors are suitable for walls and roofs, detecting tunnels and destroying fences. They are used for both light and solid fencing.
Infrared . They can be active and passive, where the former emit invisible rays and detect movement, and the latter register changes in the thermal background and generate an alarm signal.
Capacitive . They operate using an electromagnetic field, which triggers an alarm when a stranger approaches. Structurally, it consists of an electrical circuit around the entire perimeter. Suitable for extended and large areas.
Radio waves . These are two parallel feeders installed at different ends of the perimeter. A current is passed through them, which creates strong electromagnetic radiation. When an outsider enters the field, a corresponding signal is registered (see Radio channel security alarms).
Radio beam . They act in a similar way to radio wave devices, creating an electromagnetic field, only in an elliptical shape.
How does wireless alarm work?
In a standard wired alarm system, a signal cable must be installed to each device, which ensures the transmission of an alarm signal and polling of the sensor. In addition, sensors and modules need to be provided with power, usually 12 volts. In total, from three (common ground) to four insulated conductor cores are used per sensor.
In wireless alarms, signals between sensors and various units are transmitted over a radio channel, and power is provided by batteries or accumulators. The cable is only required to provide power to the central security panel.
Before installation, you should pay attention to the frequency range of the wireless equipment, because The stability of the alarm system at the site and the communication range may depend on this. The most common frequencies in Russia:
- 433 MHz is one of the most common ranges, used not only in the field of security, but also in the automation and control of various household (and not only) equipment, car alarms, barriers, radio stations, radio-controlled toys, etc.
- 868 MHz – the range is less “littered” compared to 433 MHz. Therefore, in some cases its use is justified. Some manufacturers produce their devices operating at both 433 MHz and 868 MHz.
- 2.4 MHz is the least common range in security systems, but it does exist. It uses such popular communication standards as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, ZigBee.
Communication level for frequencies 434 MHz and 868 MHz. Green field – excellent, yellow – good, orange – satisfactory, pink – no connection
The penetration of radio signals largely depends on the obstacles encountered along the path of radio waves. Different types of material reduce the level of communication differently. The table shows the dependence of the type of obstacles at the level of communication quality:
Type of material | Reducing radio range |
Wood, plaster or glass | 0 – 10 % |
Brick | 5 – 35 % |
Reinforced concrete | 10 – 90 % |
Metal | reflects radio waves |
Therefore, the communication range indicated by the manufacturer should not be taken as an absolute value. It will greatly depend on the architectural features of the object, the type of wall materials and their thickness. In cases where the communication range is insufficient, repeaters can be used. They will help increase radio coverage and avoid the problem of “losing” sensors.
Principle of operation
According to the principle of operation, security alarms are classified into three categories:
Type | Description | Advantages | Flaws |
Autonomous | They emit sound, light signals and strobe flashes in case of unauthorized access, warning the owner, and record the offense on video. Connected to a special panel and controlled via a special remote control or keyboard | Increase the chance of identifying a criminal using video, deter thieves and attract the attention of neighbors using sirens and visual signals | They are characterized by low functionality when used separately. Recommended for use in combination with additional means of protection, such as laser beams in a specific area |
Control room | They connect to a centralized security point and signal about strangers to a special rapid response team, which immediately goes to the site | The ability to suppress a crime and investigate without delay, high efficiency in combination with video surveillance conducted from a central point | |
GSM (wireless) | Special sensors and a GSM module are installed at the facility, which transmits information in the form of SMS or voice messages to the homeowner. It can also be controlled using a keyboard on a special panel or remote control. Rechargeable batteries are used as a power source | The fastest notification to the homeowner about unauthorized access, the ability to promptly call law enforcement agencies to the site even while away from it, the absence of cable lines and simple installation, no need to extend the cable when reinstalling | There are devices that jam the GSM signal, so the system is weakly effective against experienced robbers, the complex process of setting up and pairing devices, the need to periodically replace batteries, restrictions on use in areas where there is no radio communication of the equipment (see Cellular signal amplifiers). |
Telephone (wired) | It operates in a similar way to a GSM alarm: a special device sends voice messages and SMS to the homeowner’s phone | Prompt response, greater security compared to GSM alarms, high reliability and security of the facility | Not very convenient operation and high installation complexity, but these disadvantages are compensated by high reliability and safety |
The cost of a specific system depends on the area of the territory and internal premises, the need to protect the environment, the type of alarm and the amount of additional equipment.
Wired and wireless systems
Wireless systems use a radio channel, WiFi, or IR channel for communication between the controller and the actuator (sensor).
Actuators are often made to be powered by batteries to completely avoid the need for wires. Such systems are mainly used at home to protect summer cottages. Batteries require replacement, this must be monitored by the user. Such systems use equipment (central controller and sensors) from the same manufacturer, since there is practically no compatibility between equipment from different manufacturers. Another necessary attribute of a wireless system is a GSM module, which transmits alarm signals and system status to the owner or to the security console. Another subtype of wireless security systems are “smart home” controllers (here we are talking not only about security, but also control of sockets, leakage sensors, gas analyzers, light or heating control relays, video cameras, etc.). Typically, such fashionable controllers have their own cloud service or smartphone application, in which the owner sees the status of the system and individual elements. Wired systems are always a more reliable option. No serious object will be protected by battery-powered sensors. As a result, this is always a more expensive option, which, moreover, often requires design costs. If you want to use it to protect an apartment or house, then you need to take care of laying cable networks at the construction stage or before finishing the premises. In addition, the wired system requires constant power, i.e. you need to think about power backup if an attacker turns off the main one. When choosing from wired addressable or analog systems, there may not be one clear recommendation. An analog system is usually cheaper and easier to organize, configure and maintain, but it has the disadvantages described above.
Service
Separately, it is worth dwelling on the maintenance (MOT) of the alarm system, which consists of a number of technical measures. This is the only way to keep the equipment in working condition and ensure the performance of its functions.
Works include:
- troubleshooting;
- replacing broken equipment;
- maintaining operational documentation;
- performance diagnostics and visual inspection;
- monitoring the position of regulators, indicators and other elements;
- checking the resistance value on lines and loops;
- checking the condition of surface attachments and contacts.
Irregular maintenance will lead to incorrect and false alarms of sensors or even complete equipment failure.
A security alarm for a home will become a reliable protector of property and residents, warning in advance of unauthorized access. All that remains is to decide on specific equipment and order installation from professionals.
Result of the system
Thanks to the activity of security and fire alarms, many objects are protected from sudden attacks, intrusions, accidents and fires. According to statistics of unauthorized intrusions into facilities in our country, this system is the safest. It is enough to analyze the statistics to understand the importance of signaling:
- 50% or more percent of unauthorized entry into facilities that have free access for working personnel and visiting clients;
- About 25% of the territories were targets of illegal entry, while they were equipped with mechanical security elements;
- 20% of facilities protected by the access control system were subject to illegal entry;
- 5% of territories equipped with complex electronic security systems were subject to illegal actions by intruders.
Managers must worry about protecting their facilities and ensuring a high level of reliability by organizing a multi-level security system.
In this case, alarm sensors are installed at several levels:
- along the outer perimeter of the territory;
- on windows and doors;
- in interior spaces;
- on objects that are considered the most important in the protected area: safes, cabinets, drawers.
Each sensor installation point must be connected to its own separate cell of the device, which monitors the signal from the sensor and responds to it. This allows you to avoid an attacker from bypassing a single point, and also to receive a timely signal about the very first signs of a fire, attack or emergency.

How to protect your apartment with an alarm?
- February 25, 2019
Today, an alarm system is the most optimal way to protect an apartment.
Electronic security systems for apartments have been produced for half a century and have reached perfection. They work reliably and stably, do not require maintenance, are easy to operate and keep you informed of the situation at all times. Thanks to competition, apartment security services are now available to any city resident. Instead of making a few trips to the restaurant, you can keep your home safe for the whole year. Considering the dangers of the urban environment, this investment can save a lot of resources, and most importantly, it will allow you to keep your property under control and stop worrying.
An apartment alarm is a responsible choice for those who rely on themselves and not on luck.
How to choose an alarm?
When deciding to install security equipment, many people wonder how to choose it correctly so that it meets all the requirements. According to experts, choosing the right security alarm for a dacha, apartment or office should be carried out according to the following criteria:
- Decide on the type: autonomous or centralized.
- Sensor connection type: wired or radio frequency.
- If there are pets in the house, the sensors should not respond to them.
- The type of security lines that the alarm system should provide.
- Alarm power system.
Operating principle and criteria for choosing a security alarm for the entrance door of an apartment or house
Reading time: 9 minute(s) When attempting to break into or gain unauthorized entry into a premises, intruders are more likely to break into door locks or windows.
A door alarm will help reliably protect your apartment or office.
What is an alarm system for the front door of an apartment or house?
A properly installed door alarm will quickly deter burglars, ensuring the safety of your property.
There are different types of security systems; they can be selected depending on the purpose of the room and the frequency of people being in it.
Why are they needed and where are they used?
Door sirens are used in residential, industrial premises, and various warehouses to protect against unauthorized entry.
Thus, your home or office will be protected from robbery.
For the convenience of users, manufacturers produce two types of door security systems - autonomous and remote control.
- Remote control sirens are used more often in parking lots, warehouses or country houses. They are also installed in entertainment venues (cinemas, restaurants, etc.).
- Autonomous ones are suitable for residential premises in apartment buildings. Considering the large number of people who are nearby, this is quite enough, since they can call the police when an emergency sound occurs.
Depending on the presence of additional sensors, the alarm affects several work areas.
Manufacturers also took care of the heat resistance of the device for various types of rooms.
To avoid false alarms of motion sensors, it is necessary, if necessary, to repair the door so that it does not knock during a draft.
How it works: device and principle of operation
The design of a door siren depends on its type. Thus, security systems can be either remote control or autonomous.
Remote security for the door consists of:
- security sensors;
- electronic control unit.
The detectors are directly connected to the unit and when the siren is triggered, the signal is transmitted to the security company’s console.
Specialists of the organization ㅡ rapid response group of the State Bureau of Investigation ㅡ immediately arrive at the site.
Door opening sensor for remote control door alarm:
Autonomous security systems differ from the control panel in that they are installed above or near the door.
There are 4 types of autonomous structures:
- Sound Detector - Howler
- With motion sensor
- With integrated motion sensor
- Wireless GSM systems, or door alarm with SMS notification
It can be wired or wireless, in the form of a speaker or round.
The window and door motion sensor is attached to the moving part of the door, and the control unit is attached to a fixed frame.
When the moving zone opens, a signal is triggered and a loud siren sounds.
Does not require installation by specialists ㅡ you can do it yourself. The volume range varies from 700 to 1200 Hz.
Manufacturers offer options that produce intermittent, continuous or two-tone sounds.
An alarm with a motion detector does not need to be installed, since it is portable.
The device is mounted near the door and when there is outside movement, the contacts inside the device close, subsequently emitting the sound of a siren.
It is similar to the previous type, but it is attached near the doorway to electrical wires carrying 220 V current.
Before leaving the room, the user turns on the “signal”, and within 20 seconds you need to have time to leave the room, since after turning on the siren is triggered by any movement or noise.
The radius of the remote control is approximately 100 m.
Some manufacturers make battery-powered models.
This system involves transmitting an information signal about a hack to the user’s smartphone in any communication access area via the GSM protocol.
The kit usually includes: a control unit with a keyboard, a GSM module, key fobs and motion sensors.
The owner can also purchase additional accessories: video, photo cameras, microphones, speakers.
The operating principle of remote control systems is to open the system when the door is opened:
- The door is opened.
- The magnetic contact detectors have disconnected.
- The siren went off.
- The radio signal transmitted the alarm to the security console.
The RRT turn off the siren and find out the reason for the device’s operation.
Autonomous alarms respond to movement and noise.
Devices with a motion sensor operate according to the following scheme:
- There is movement or increased noise in the room.
- The detector reacts to it.
- The siren goes off.
With such protection, it is important to have time to get to the place of unauthorized entry in order to find out the reason for the operation.
GSM security works according to the same scheme, but requires a different setting to transmit a signal to the owner’s device:
- A SIM card is inserted into a special slot.
- Remove protection from the battery.
- Within a minute, the device registers on the network.
- Now you need to call from your mobile phone, which will receive notifications, to the number of the SIM card installed in the device.
After this procedure, the GSM door alarm starts working.
Its advantage is that the security operates in a wide temperature range - from -10 to +50ºС.
Installation and operation of GSM alarm:
Reviews of modern door alarms
Users of door alarms leave various reviews about security systems.
So, according to the owners of security sirens, alarms have the following pros and cons.
Pros:
- Quick installation of autonomous protection systems. You can install autonomous sirens yourself, without resorting to the services of specialists. But it is better to entrust the fastening of the GSM system to professionals.
- Wireless detectors are more economical because they run on batteries rather than electricity.
- The radio security system quickly transmits a signal to the owner or the RBI.
- Compactness. The small dimensions of the devices do not interfere with entry and exit from the premises and do not spoil the appearance of the apartment, office or restaurant.
- Possibility of purchasing additional sensors for new work areas without dismantling the main control unit.
Minuses:
- Wireless alarms need to be charged or their batteries changed from time to time.
- Sometimes physical barriers, such as high fences, interfere with the radio signal. Also, the thickness of the walls reduces the transmission range of radio waves.
- If it is difficult to install the system yourself, then the services of professionals are expensive.

Which manufacturer and which type is better to choose?
Before purchasing and installing a door alarm, you need to study the room, and only then choose the type of device.
You need to pay attention to the manufacturer and price after selecting the type of detector.
What to consider when choosing a device?
Before installing a security system, it is important to pay attention to several parameters:
- Number of protected areas. Additional sensors can protect the front door and other rooms, including the balcony. It is necessary to check with specialists the range of radio waves.
- Battery life.
Some models do not have a low battery indicator, and if the battery runs out, the security will not work. - Signal volume level. This parameter is relevant for stand-alone wireless sensors that do not transmit a signal to the RGB or the owner.
- Operating temperature range. Depending on the purpose, the room may have low or high temperatures, and some models only work in a certain range.
3 best models
When selecting the top 3 detectors, it is better to focus on the predominance of advantages than on the abundance of functions, since improved functionality may have many disadvantages.
- One of the best alarms for the entrance door to apartments is Guardian M-401. The advantages of the detector are over a wide temperature range; such sensors can be installed in country houses.
The high sensitivity of the reed magnet will quickly scare away a burglar and transmit an alarm signal to the security console.The detector also has a budget price - 400 rubles.
- Sapsan DM-100v.2 takes second place, thanks to its long signal transmission distance, which is up to 100 m, and a wide range of operating temperatures - from -10 to +50ºС. Another advantage is the high sensitivity of the detector: when the door is opened by 1.5 cm, a loud siren with a frequency of up to 433 MHz is triggered. The cost of the device is 600 rubles.
- Darho DH-288 is similar to the previous detector, but it is distinguished by a lower cost - 450 rubles. A sensitivity threshold of 1 cm when the door is opened allows the siren to quickly react and notify the owner of the incident.
Features of location and installation
Door sensors and alarms are conveniently placed: on the door or in the doorway.
But some vibration detectors may be inconvenient due to their high sensitivity, as they are located outside.
For example, a motion sensor in a country house can react to the sound of a walking animal. And if the signal is transmitted to the security console, then the SBI call will be false, for which you will have to pay a fine.
Therefore, it is better to trust the programming of the system to professionals.
The advantage is that several sensors can be installed in different work areas in a room.
Thanks to radio signals, an attempt to enter any room is transmitted to the main control unit and the security system is immediately activated.
By installing a sensor on a window, you can secure the room from penetration through the window, and motion detectors will transmit a signal when the door lock is opened.
It all depends on the model, as well as the modification of the device.
Wired alarms must be installed close to the doorbell and telephone socket so that the sensor can be connected to the battery.
Features of mounting the door window alarm:
Price
The price of a door alarm depends on its configuration, as well as the capabilities of the door opening sensor:
- The operating temperature range of the detector directly affects whether the sensor can be installed indoors or outdoors. Some models can withstand sub-zero temperatures, while others stop working at zero degrees.
- The volume of the siren determines how quickly people will react when they hear the alarm.
- The frequency of the radio channel affects the speed of response of the GBR.
Of course, the brand also affects the price - the more famous the manufacturer, the more expensive the alarm.
In Russia, the minimum price for door alarms is ㅡ 100 rubles (mini door alarm with a reed sensor), and the maximum ㅡ 4,500 rubles (fully equipped wireless home GSM alarm system).
Where to buy an alarm for the door of an apartment or house?
In large cities, the likelihood of purchasing a product is higher due to the increased assortment. Thus, in Moscow and St. Petersburg there are several popular product suppliers.

For small objects with several installed sensors, control panels with relay-type outputs are usually used. For large facilities with a complex security network structure, digital technologies are better suited.
Interface devices are presented as independent devices and integrated units included in a monoblock. The option where the interface modules are represented by separate boards located in the control panel is considered the most convenient.
The basic functions of the control panel are to receive information from special security detectors and process it. It is possible to equip with built-in units of an information transmission system via wire lines or a radio channel. Circuits for controlling light and sound alarms must also be present.
The best option for comprehensive protection
In order to truly protect your home and business from security threats, it is recommended to connect comprehensive security, which, in addition to security equipment, includes constant monitoring by qualified operators and emergency visits to the scene of incidents by rapid response teams. For example, the GULFSTREAM comprehensive security system includes:
- Personal security project and equipment installation (2 hours);
- Wireless sensors with batteries with an average charge of up to 4 years (maximum up to 10);
- Mobile application for remote management of protected objects;
- Quick connection of additional security sensors (smoke, gas, temperature), smart socket and panic button;
- 24-hour monitoring of protected objects at the Central Monitoring Station in Moscow;
- Arrival of the rapid response team within 5-7 minutes;
GOLFSTREAM also installs motion sensors with photo confirmation on all objects. When an alarm occurs, the cameras instantly create a series of images and send them to the Central Monitoring Station. In the event of a fire, the operator will see smoke in the images and immediately call the fire department to the scene. Thus, photographic confirmation allows you to quickly understand the cause of the alarm (animal, criminal, fire) and promptly take the necessary measures to prevent damage.
In remote control systems, all detectors are automatic, so when smoke, gas leakage or water accumulation is detected, you will receive not only a notification on your phone, but also a call from the operator, and the operator will call you or your authorized representatives until one of you accepts the message about the incident. Such security will ensure the safety of your home and business, and you will be reliably protected from unauthorized entry and domestic accidents.
