general description
Closed switchgears in mobile block-container buildings for voltage 6, 10 kV (hereinafter ZRU-6 (10) kV) are designed for receiving and distributing electrical energy of three-phase alternating current of industrial frequency 50 Hz in mining, oil and gas and industrial facilities.
ZRU-6(10) kV consist of separate block containers with complete switchgear installed in them from cabinets of the K-02 series, or chambers of the KSO-203, KSO-203M, KSO-210 series. Block containers are delivered separately by road or rail to the installation site, where they are connected to each other, electrical installation and commissioning work is carried out.
ZRU-6(10) kV is manufactured according to a questionnaire compiled for each customer individually, with detailed design of the main and additional equipment, taking into account all the customer’s wishes.
Modular type indoor switchgear are manufactured in two versions:
- Standard marine metal containers of various types and sizes, designed for operation in conditions of external temperatures from - 60 ° C to +40 ° C and protecting equipment from external environmental factors.
- Typical block concrete modules of the "Baltika" type, designed for operation in conditions of external temperatures from - 60 ° C to +40 ° C and protecting equipment from external environmental factors.
Closed switchgears (SGD) are manufactured for voltages of 6-10 kV and can be equipped with Onega KSO cells or Volga switchgear cabinets produced by OJSC PO Eltekhnika.
Types and equipment of closed switchgear (KRUN)
The Chelyabinsk Electrical Equipment Plant produces two types of closed switchgear ZRU-6(10) :
- with distribution devices from assembly chambers KSO-203, KSO-203M, KSO-210 (with withdrawable elements);
- with distribution devices from cabinets of the K-02 series. The substation housing is made depending on the area of operation.
The frame of the closed switchgear is assembled from a metal profile, with the base being a pipe and a channel covered with corrugated sheet metal. The entire structure is reliably boiled, after which the product is sent for painting. Then the frame is sheathed with a profiled sheet, the type of which corresponds to the climatic design. For the production of insulated block containers, sandwich panels are used, thanks to which, with the help of heaters inside the room, the temperature necessary for the operation of electrical equipment is maintained.
ZRU-6(10) may be equipped with heating, 220V lighting, 36V portable lighting, a fire alarm system, a burglar alarm, an air conditioning and ventilation system, an equipment maintenance corridor with two entrances and external repair doors.
The closed switchgear is equipped with the following electrical equipment:
- distribution device from chambers KSO-203;
- KSO-203M with power vacuum circuit breakers;
- KSO-210 with power vacuum circuit breakers on withdrawable elements;
- cabinets of the K-02 series with power vacuum circuit breakers installed on withdrawable trolleys;
- ShSN auxiliary cabinet;
- power supply for relay protection devices;
- operating current control cabinet;
- electricity metering panel of the control room.
Not only technical requirements and solutions are agreed with the customer, but also a multi-color shell color scheme that is adaptive to the installation site, application of individual logos, etc. All internal and external metal surfaces of the equipment are coated using powder polymerization, regardless of color. The coating has increased resistance to all known types of external influences and, under normal use, can last for as long as possible.
ZRU-6(10) kV in terms of the impact of environmental climatic factors according to GOST 15150-69 belong to the UHL climatic design of placement category 1 and are operated in the following conditions:
- installation height above sea level is not more than 1000 m;
- ambient temperature from minus 60°С to plus 40°С;
- atmosphere type I-II according to GOST 15150-69;
- degree of insulation contamination I-II according to GOST 9920-89

Scope, definitions
4.2.1. This chapter of the Rules applies to stationary switchgears (RU) and transformer substations (TS) of alternating current voltage above 1 kV.
4.2.2. This chapter does not contain requirements for the design of switchgear and substations in terms of:
- site selection (except 4.2.35);
- engineering preparation of the territory;
- measures to reduce noise generated by operating electrical equipment;
- determining the explosion and fire hazard categories of premises;
- determining the degree of fire resistance of buildings (except 4.2.117, 4.2.118);
- security measures;
- fire protection and fire safety (except for some items).
According to the above, you should be guided by the requirements of current building codes and regulations and departmental documents.
